Originally from the Rhône Valley and celebrated worldwide, Syrah found a natural home in the Province of Latina, where Casale del Giglio first planted it in 1985. Only the ripest grapes are hand-selected, cold-macerated to preserve rich colour and aroma, then gently fermented to extract fine tannins and depth. After 8–12 months of barrique ageing and a further 6 months in bottle, the result is a wine of remarkable character
Expect a velvety, full-bodied red with notes of blackberries, spice, and dark chocolate, supported by soft tannins and a lingering, elegant finish. Perfect with grilled meats, aged cheeses, or rich pasta dishes
